Hood Pains by Ira B.

After a little girl is gunned down in front of her home, twin detectives Nikki and Vikki are chosen to lead the investigation. But they aren’t the only ones searching for her killer. One of the streets’ deadliest gangstaz is out for blood, and he won’t stop until someone pays for her murder.
As the twins dig deeper into the case, another nightmare emerges—a serial killer is on the loose, leaving bodies behind while keeping everyone guessing about who will be next.
When the investigation puts Nikki and Vikki directly in the line of fire, they find themselves caught in the middle of a deadly street war between two ruthless killaz, each determined to settle the score his own way.
In a world where badges don’t always command respect and street mentality sometimes speaks louder than the law, Nikki and Vikki must navigate murder, revenge, and a trail of blood to uncover the truth. What they discover is that HOOD PAINS come without warning, death doesn’t discriminate, and TOMORROW AIN’T PROMISED.
