O'Block by Ru Rushmore

Born into the violent legacy of Chicago’s O’Block, VOUDON BARKSDALE has spent his life preparing to inherit the empire his legendary grandfather, KING DAVID, built. Trained to think like a strategist and survive like a warrior, Voudon navigates a world where loyalty is scarce, betrayal is expected, and every decision can mean life or death.
As tensions rise between rival crews and hidden agendas begin to surface, Voudon and Vivian execute a daring plan that could change the balance of power forever. But every move draws them deeper into a dangerous game involving powerful enemies, federal attention, and ghosts from the past. When an explosive operation leaves lives hanging in the balance and sets off an even larger chain of events, Voudon realizes that the war for O' Block has only just begun.
