Paper, Roc, Snakes by Vincent Holloway
Yero is a true product of his environment. He rises from obscurity in the streets of Durham to rule over them like a king on the chessboard, but he knows better than most that he can’t win the game by himself. So, with his sister beside him he positions himself to make sure they never take a crippling loss.
Then, there’s NIKO. A brilliant hustla, who moves with precision. Despite his calculated moves, in a single night Niko’s life is turned upside down when he and his family are forced to relocate. Overwhelmed with anger, he sets out to turn sh*t into sugar. Although the Bull City is foreign territory to him, Niko is a lion, and he is going to eat wherever his feet are.
With his people riding shotgun, and other family members holding them down, Niko seemingly can’t fail — the world should be their oyster. But when views begin to differ, something has to give or everything they’ve built will crumble. Is loyalty enough to settle things down. Is blood really thicker than water? Or will their street dreams turn into a vicious game of PAPER, ROCK, SNAKES?
